The Tweed for Appleby is spun in the outer Hebrides of Scotland and comes with the famous Orb stamp, to show that it is genuinely handwoven. Harris Tweed was developed by Lady Dunmore in the 19th Century, and it is still made from pure virgin wool dyed using vegetable dyes. Since 1993 Harris Tweed has been protected by an act of parliament

Superb quality dog lead

We cut the fabric for this dog lead by hand in our studio in Hoxton. It’s finished by a traditional British belt-maker using sturdy metal trigger hooks that are genuine saddlery fittings. The finished dog lead feels substantial and well-made and lasts for years.

Easy to clean designer dog Lead

Appleby fabrics have an invisible Teflon coating, that shrugs off dirt and stains. Occasionally it may need a clean - after all, dogs do like to roll in some unspeakable things! When that happens, just hand wash the lead or give it a wipe over with a damp cloth, and it comes up looking like new.
