CHIHUAHUA ‘tiny but mighty’

With their big personality the teeny-tiny Chihuahua is not a dog to be overlooked. This breed is a personal favourite of mine as Missy the Chihuahua was the inspiration for the start of LoveMyDog. This toy breed is thought to originate from Mexico, and does need protecting from the harsh cold and wet weather. They become cold easily and shiver (they do shiver from excitement and anxiety as well). I’ve found that our chunky Wilmot Dog Sweaters are great to keep them warm indoors. They’re very comfy to sleep and snooze in. My favourite colours for Chihuahua’s are lime or red.
